Jeffrey Morris, a film maker and founder of "THE FUTURE DUDE" requested a 3D creation of a vessel called "Terracat" for his film project "PERSEPHONE", wich ist still in the making and now currently under the wings of the VFX team of Pixomondo. I build the TERRACAT as an intern while being at THE LIGHT WORKS in COLOGNE, Germany. I did the model and large parts of the Textures. This was my very first full learning and understanding project of UV mapping. The texturing has been done only in Photoshop the "old school" style. It was very tough to that since I haven`t really worked with photoshop back then before. The entire project really tought me a lot, and from todays perspective I have to say that learning to texture the old way really brings skills and benefits some projects lack due to the usage of substance painter etc.
